Stardust, Haze, and Black Powder

Through poetic language, the work tells of the last prospector of a family line, who, guided by lightning, catches a glimpse of his fate and finds a vein of gold; it tells of the geology that predates history; and it tells of personal memories in Jinguashi. We resort to tangible, permanent things and impermanent histories to get a hold of the fleeting, yet why is the human mind equipped with the capacity to forget? Forgetting helps us adapt to a changing world, declaring that nothing ever stays the same.
