Computer brains, an electronic inner ear and the spacecraft equivalent of a cardiovascular system have been successfully installed into NASA’s Cassini spacecraft, bound for a launch to Saturn in 1997.

Cassini is ready for shake and bake test.

Thank you, my dear. Some hot tea to go with some old memories, what more could I ask for? And biscuits! Please have a seat. Well, I have to say it’s nice to be with you—if not see you—again. So, before we start, would you mind telling me how is the weather today, and what is your name?

02-Suzanne
Good afternoon. My apologies for being late, I hope this did not cause you too much distress. The rain was not friendly. You look lovely! This must be the dress from the new tailor you mentioned in your letter, look at these details. I must pay a visit to that tailor some time. Thank you again for having me here, and walking me to the salon. You know I’ve been expecting today’s gathering for a long time.

Good afternoon, ladies, gentlemen, and the sun in the sky, thank you so much for coming out here today. I am Robert Brown.

I can’t recall a launch as perfect as this one. Everything we see is within predictions, with no failures.

01-Giovanni
I appreciate and admire my uncle very much. He was a good man. He attended to the early education I received, which is the beginning of my astronomical interests. Astronomy and astrology are two subjects now, but everything we see today was once within one discipline. When I first studied in the Jesuit College in Genoa, I was more drawn to astrology than I was to astronomy. In a way, astrology is more practical and useful, isn’t it? But in any case, after some time, I can’t recall how long it was, but I do remember telling my uncle that “there was nothing substantial in the rules of the astrologers and that astronomy alone deserved attention.” I was a straightforward young man. My uncle even lectured me about some arts of speaking. And, he was proved to be very right.
